School Visits
We have regular visits, to the Mandir from schools, Scouts and Cubs across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. We also present classes on Hinduism at schools. Our purpose is to inform/educate the children about:
- Hindu Religion/ Sanatan Dharma
- The Deities
- Our Mandir
- Religious Ceremonies
- Our Religious Scriptures
“Thank you for showing us your Hindu Mandir. It was really interesting, and we loved it.”

Grendon Primary School, Grendon
“Thank you for your warm welcome today. We had a very enjoyable and educational visit. The feedback from families and colleagues has been very positive.”
Highfield Nursery School, Wellingborough
“Many thanks again for your time last night. We have had some lovely comments from parents saying how much their child enjoyed the visit.”
Falcon Cub Pack, Burton Latimer
“We love bringing the Cubs along to the Mandir – the warm welcome, the colours and the stories all make it something they can really get involved in. They also get a glimpse into a culture which they didn’t appreciate was part of our shared community. Not everyone’s lives are the same as the one that they and their friends live – there is a varied and fascinating world out there for them to discover. We all came away with a real appreciation of the core beliefs and a feeling for the breadth of the teachings. We have had several very positive comments from the parents who came along too. Thank you and your helpers again Ishver, for your time and hospitality.”
First Wootton Cubs, Northampton
“A quick note to say thank you so much for coming in and talking to the children today. It was a very informative afternoon for both the children and for me.”
