Health Mela 2026: Promoting Health, Wellbeing and Community Connection

The Wellingborough District Hindu Association (WDHA) is pleased to announce the second Health Mela (Community Health Fair) will be taking place on Saturday 6th June 2026 at the Highfield Community Centre (HCC), from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

The Health Mela is designed to bring together health professionals, wellbeing practitioners, community organisations, and residents in one accessible and welcoming space. Its purpose is to promote health awareness, early prevention, and a holistic approach to wellbeing within the community.

This event will provide an opportunity for residents to access trusted information, free health checks, and professional advice, helping individuals make informed choices about their health and lifestyle. At the same time, the event creates a valuable platform for health professionals and community organisations to connect, share knowledge, and explore opportunities for future collaboration.

By bringing services and expertise directly into the community, the Health Mela aims to strengthen links between professionals, agencies, and residents, encouraging a shared commitment to improving health outcomes and supporting wellbeing for all.
